my name is Marcel and this is my Digital Arts blog. I will collect all my work from class in here. It will also include information about me and how I look at art.  I will use it to express my thoughts and opinions in this area. 

First thing that I would like to share on my blog is the creation of one of my favourite designers, Isabel Benenato.

Isabel Benenato

Born in Naples (Italy), Isabel Benenato is a fashion designer that grew up surrounded by her creative family. She launched her first collection in 2008 in Milano. Her work is based on philosophy of simple and essential life. Her collections are exeptional because of their simplicity, limited color palette and timelessness. 

"My work shold be categorized by it's research of materials, by the shapes, by diversed manufacturing techniques and mixing materials. I would define my style as contemporary but timeless." - Isabel Benenato

Knitwear plays essential role in brands heritage. It was one of the fundamentals when brand was lunched and is a clue in it's history. Isabel's brand might be identified with a fenomenal quality of clothing because her apparel is being produced fully in the Italy. Designer works with the best bets that guarantee these fantastic standards of execution. 

Isabel from the beginning was using mostly black and white colors for her collections but recently she started to experiment more with yellows and reds. She says she likes the way black and white contrast each other, where black is a really mysterous color and white is so holy.

Isabel Benenato also stongly believes in sustainable fashion and makes a huge effort to minimalise it's environmental footprint. She doesn't want her brand to grown huge but wants to keep it's size and focus on working on style.

I am really impressed with work of Isabel Benenato and I hope that more and more fashion designers will try to incorporate her sustainable way of leading the brand into theirs so industry can be healthier for the environment.
